Animal Whispers
WEBSITE REBUILD
Animal Whispers had been running on Squarespace for years, but over time the website had become difficult to navigate, visually inconsistent and increasingly hard for Deborah to manage herself. New sections had been added as the business evolved, content had shifted around, and the overall user journey no longer made much sense.
The issue was bigger than simply making the site look better. The structure needed rethinking so visitors could quickly understand the different services available, find the right information and move confidently towards making a booking.
I redesigned the entire website, working through the structure, content, user flow and visual direction from the ground up. Existing information was reorganised and rewritten, unnecessary pages were consolidated, and the services were restructured so the website now clearly guides people towards the right type of session.
The design was completely refreshed too, replacing the inconsistent, homemade feel with something calmer, more polished and much more reflective of the Animal Whispers brand. Soft natural colours, stronger typography, better spacing and carefully considered imagery give the website a more professional and trustworthy feel while still retaining Deborah’s warmth and personality.
I also worked through the booking journey, integrating the website more effectively with Acuity Scheduling and making sure the path from learning about a service through to booking was as clear as possible across desktop and mobile.
The result is a website that not only looks completely different, but works completely differently too. Animal Whispers now has a cohesive, easy-to-navigate website that properly supports the business, makes its services easier to understand and gives Deborah a much stronger platform to grow from.
