Warren Woodturners

WEBSITE BUILD

Warren Woodturners is a New Zealand timber manufacturing business specialising in custom woodturning, CNC machining and a growing range of timber products available to purchase online.

The business needed a new website that could bring together two quite different sides of what they do. On one hand, Warren Woodturners provides specialist manufacturing and commercial services for customers needing custom timber components. On the other, they have an extensive and growing range of timber products that can be purchased directly online.

The challenge was to create a website that could accommodate both without becoming complicated or difficult to navigate. The site needed to clearly explain Warren Woodturners’ manufacturing capabilities while also functioning as a straightforward ecommerce store.

I developed the site structure, organised and refined the content, wrote the website copy, and created a clean, understated design that keeps the focus on the quality of the timber products and craftsmanship behind them.

The ecommerce side of the website was built in Squarespace, with products organised into clear categories to make a growing catalogue easy to browse and manage. Alongside the online store, dedicated service content explains Warren Woodturners’ custom woodturning and CNC capabilities, giving commercial customers a clear understanding of what the business can produce and how to get in touch about a project.

The result is a practical, professional website that brings Warren Woodturners’ manufacturing services and online product range together in one place, while giving the business a flexible platform that can continue to grow with them.
