Despite being in business for many years and supplying furniture to retailers across New Zealand, Woodpecker Furniture had no real online presence when they approached me. Most of their work had come through long-standing relationships and word of mouth, but they recognised the need for a professional website that would help support their retail network and strengthen the credibility of the brand.

The goal was to create something clean, simple, and trustworthy. A website that felt established and refined without overcomplicating things. It needed to showcase the quality of their furniture while giving retailers and potential customers confidence in the business behind it.

Like many busy manufacturers, they didn’t have a lot of time to dedicate to the project. Aside from a handful of brochures and product images, there wasn’t a huge amount of content to work with. So I took the information they provided and ran with it, developing the structure, writing the content, and shaping the overall direction of the site.

The final result is a clean and considered website that allows their beautifully crafted timber furniture to take centre stage. The minimal layout keeps the focus on the workmanship, materials, and collections themselves, while giving Woodpecker Furniture the professional online presence they had been missing for years.
